About Kiko

Kiko Miwa is a Japanese raw vegan chef, guide, interpreter, author, and the creator of a weekly raw vegan café in Kyoto.

Her journey into raw veganism began over 22 years ago following a series of serious health challenges while living abroad. After exploring conventional and alternative approaches to healing, she discovered the power of raw, plant-based nutrition—a path that transformed not only her physical health but also her relationship with food, nature, and herself.

Having lived in Japan, the United States, the Bahamas, Costa Rica, and France, Kiko brings a global perspective to wellness while remaining deeply rooted in Japanese values and culture. She is passionate about creating simple, beautiful, and nourishing recipes using whole, unprocessed ingredients that make healthy living enjoyable and accessible.

A former business and personal coach, Kiko stepped away from coaching with a promise to herself: she would return only after creating the kind of life she had always dreamed of. Today, she is living that dream and is passionate about helping others create lives filled with health, purpose, joy, and a deeper connection to nature.

Through her YouTube channel, podcast, writing, and café, Kiko shares practical insights on raw vegan living, longevity, mindful eating, and holistic well-being. She is the author of Namadō – My Raw Vegan Journey, which combines her personal story, practical guidance, and 10 signature recipes, and Namadō II – Raw Journey Through Ups and Downs, a more intimate reflection on the challenges, lessons, and practical wisdom she has gained over more than two decades of living the raw vegan lifestyle.
